Reduce. Reuse. Recycle.
Shadow Lake Towne Center is Doing its Part to Encourage Shoppers to Recycle While They Shop, too!
The oversized 8-foot-by-8-foot Recycling Wall is located in an empty store space between Chico's and Sweet & Sassy in the Alegent Health Amphitheatre.
Items acceptable for recycling at Shadow Lake Towne Center include:
Plastic and aluminum: including pop bottles and cans, water bottles, sport drink bottles, and similar containers;
Paper and cardboard: including magazines, newspapers, paper bags, cardboard and similar items;
Batteries and cell phones: including both rechargeable and non-rechargeable batters and old cell phones; and
Gently used clothing .
All acceptable clothing that is dropped off at Shadow Lake Towne Center will be donated to Heartland Family Services. Old cell phones will be collected and donated to local charities that can use mobile devices to support their programs. Glass containers, drinking glasses/cups, vehicle batteries and plastic bags are not accepted, but the program could be expanded over time as more items are accepted at community recycling centers.
The "Recycling Wall" is conveniently located in the Alegent Health Amphitheatre. Try it out and do your part to help us all live a more sustainable life!
